Southernhay has been busy getting everything prepared, updating our procedures, carrying out lots of staff training and are happy to announce that we are now open!

We’d like to thank you all for your patience and understanding over the past few months, and thank you for some lovely comments we’ve received already in our first few days of opening:

Although we are open, we are working on a pre-arranged appointment only basis so the front door will remain closed for the time being, so please for the safety of all do not come to the practice until your appointment has been confirmed.
Although we follow strict procedures already, we must follow extra procedural guidelines meaning we will initially be able to treat far fewer patients than normal, and those seen first will be priority pain cases.

You will be contacted by phone to arrange an appointment time, at which point you will be asked a series of questions and advised from there what to expect on arrival and during your visit.

Those of you booked in for hygienist and examination appointments over the coming months, please do contact us if you wish to alter your appointment- we understand that many of you are shielding or just generally wary at the moment so we will happily arrange a future date to suit.

We will have to move some existing appointments due to the extra decontamination and administration we will be carrying out for each appointment. We will give you plenty of notice of changes and please contact us by email or voice message if you have specific concerns. Changes to normal procedures will be explained fully to you during this call.
