We are happy to report that we are now operating as normally as we possibly can following the lockdowns.
All treatments are now being carried out, with the exception of the AirFlow scaler.
Appointments are extended to allow for extra decontamination and sufficient air-changes in the treatment rooms following the use of equipment that generates an aerosol effect. This means that we cannot see quite as many people in a day as we used to so there may be a slightly longer wait for appointments. We thank you for your understanding.
For emergency appointments including broken teeth or lost filling appointments, we may have to ask you to return for a second visit once we’ve assessed the problem as we may need to arrange extra decontamination time following the use of high-speed drills.
If we have not seen you since reopening, you will be contacted the day before your appointment to run through some health questions and to ensure you know the procedure on arrival. Please cancel your appointment if you are worried in any way about your own health or have recently been in contact with someone with Covid-19.
You may be asked to wait outside on arrival, so please do not arrive too early. Please wear a mask until you are inside the treatment room.
To limit the number of people in the practice, please come alone (aside from children and carers) and only bring essential belongings.
You must clean your hands as you enter the practice using the sanitiser provided.
We’re limiting the use of our waiting areas and have spaced appointment times to assist with safe social distancing. Please keep your mask on at all times when not in the treatment rooms.
We’ve installed plastic screens at the front of our reception desk for the safety of you and our staff when at reception.
